We are Robert and Julie, a husband and wife team with different backgrounds and skill-sets which we have brought together as Fàladair. Between us we have experience in commercial landscape gardening and grounds maintenance, allotment/edible gardening, private estate grounds-keeping, and “rewilding”/nature restoration projects.

We are passionate about nature & wildlife, love to explore new gardens, and look after people’s happy places!

Our goals

• To operate in a way that balances functionality and usability with natural spaces and room for wildlife.
• To work in a manner that is kind to nature and to promote methods that are both effective and environmentally friendly.
• To use the most environmentally friendly tools that we can afford and always reach for hand tools first before resorting to machinery.
• To encourage people to make more space for nature.

We recognise the desire or need for practical spaces and still appreciate a nice bit of lawn but if some of it can be given over to a more diverse habitat then even better!
